I've decided to share some of my favorite Sewing & Quilting tools, gadgets and notions.
Today I'll introduce you to the Rotary Blade Sharpener . This tool has saved me hundreds of dollars by now, I'm sure. It should be a "must-have" gadget for anyone using a rotary cutting blade.
It comes in three sizes: 28mm, 45mm, 60mm. I own one of these sharpeners in each size and I have been using the same sharpeners for several years now and they still work great. Actually come to think of it I am sure many of my rotary blades are several years old as well. And they still work great too :) And I use them a lot. So this gadget is definitely one of my top must-have items in my studio.
You can purchase this tool directly from Colonial Needle or from other online sites including Etsy where I've seen them for less than $10.

ReplyDeleteCan you add a video HOW TO.... use one of these gadgets. I have one and well, the sharp(what was left before I tried to sharpen) is gone, gone, gone. Not sure what I did wrong. T.I.A.
